As my family genealogist, I have been immersed in 'lost stories'. And so in my art, I am focused on using colourful patterns and markings in my fabric palette to create elements of whimsy, energy, mystery and memories. I aim to create a conversation and bold expressive energy. With collage I use bits and pieces of scrap fabrics that speak to me. I also collect and create pieces with marks/surface design to incorporate.
