I created this colorful original goldendoodle art quilt ("Farley") with high quality cotton fabric and wool batting from a photo of my own goldendoodle. I always start creating my animals with the eyes so that the personality of the animal is apparent before I choose the fabrics and colors to use for the rest of the quilt. I zig-zag around each of the pieces with invisible thread to get the unique look and texture. There is a sleeve on the back for easy hanging; you will just need a rod.
