Over the River is a whole cloth quilt started as a hand dyed fabric enhanced with InkTense blocks and wool roving. Here I wanted to create depth and to use unexpected colors in the landscape. It is part of my Before and After series where I am exploring this technique of enhancing hand dyed fabric and drawing out landscape images. This piece is finished with free motion quilting.
