Art Quilt Studio

As working artist we do many different things to promote our art. Recently I was excited to have my work process included in ART QUILT STUDIOS, a magazine devoted to Artist practices.

This is the second time I’ve been in this magazine and I enjoy the process of gathering my thoughts, images and words to talk about what I do. It’s revealing to review your work and write about what you are making.

This issues article is titled Trees and Leaves

So much of my work has leaves or trees imagery in them. I feel like the canopy of foliage that surrounds us everyday is important to our wellbeing. Besides connecting us to our environment it envelops and refreshes our lives.
